The “Kids on Lifts” website is produced by the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA). The site was established with the purpose of providing a resource for parents interested in learning more about loading, riding and unloading lifts for their children and themselves. The site was established in Sept 2012.
The National Ski Areas Association is the trade association serving the ski area industry. NSAA’s members are ski area owners and operators, along with companies that provide goods and services to ski areas. NSAA provides educational programs and employee training materials on industry issues including, OSHA, ADA, NEPA, environmental laws, state regulatory agencies, aerial tramway safety and area operations. NSAA also analyzes and provides industry statistics; produces annual conferences, trade shows, publishes an industry journal and participates in state and federal lobbying efforts.
